About gossip, it can indeed be something fun, which is why "celebrity infotainment" shows can be popular and profitable because they have an audience. So, don't take it too seriously if someone talks or gossips about someone else. They might just do it for their own enjoyment, and then forget about it. They don't really care much, let alone judge harshly. So, just consider it as passing information. Like hearing gossip, well, that's it, no need to treat it as absolute and solid truth, right?
